Where are you, Jac?

Hey Jac, I wanted to email you or post a comment on your blog, but can't find you anywhere! So I'm leaving this message here. Just wondering if you have consented to be interviewed by the magazine/paper that wants to do an article about op shoppers? I'm being 'done' tomorrow!

Hahahaha! This is hilarious Gina! I don't have a blog of my own, and haven't been op shopping in ages either so have been lacking presence on here too.
Unfortunately I am not available to do the interview :( Good luck to you for yours though, and I hope you can post a link to where we can all read it when it is done :)

Yes, please post a link to the article Gina. I too was a contributor ages ago but no longer have a blog. However, I check in daily to I Op therefore I Am as I am still an avid op shopper.

I have not consumed new goods for about 20 years buying mostly secondhand items from op shops. My frugality has paid off in many ways and I am know financially independent as a result. I have retired in my early 50s to go and volunteer in an op shop.

I have a holiday home furnished and decorated exclusively from op shop finds. All my clothing is secondhand. I do however buy undies new but always on special.

I hope these amazing benefits of op shopping come through in your article.

Dear Anon, yes it is true and it is achievable. I divorced and managed to buy property and put my two children through expensive private schools! How by op shopping, make do and mend and not consuming. It would be a good subject for a book don't you think?

So, what would you like to know in regards to strategies? But first tell me what it is you would like to achive in the short, medium and long term and a little bit about you.
